Needs Somebody

Photographers Wanted!

Calling all cosplay photographers! Looking to do some photoshoots for ConnectiCon 2012 and Otakon 20102.

For Connecticon 2012, we would like a photographer to shoot our Super Mario Bros. group that Saturday AND/OR a Sailor Moon photoshoot that Sunday. Since ~fontainekia will be cosplaying with us, she will not be able to take the photos (kinda hard to take photos of yourself).

For Otakon, right now we're looking for someone available for Friday to do a Young Justice photoshoot, featuring ~Gotham-Knight as Green Arrow. No idea what we are wearing on Sunday, and Saturday is far too chaotic for plan a shoot.

If you are interested, please comment below or send me a note with previous work and if you are attending/available for either (or both if you feel generous) conventions. I would like to go through your "portfolio" and just see your style as an artist. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL AND HAVE SPECIFIC PRICES, please include that in the comment/note as well. If you work for free, than you're awesome and will most likely be at the top of the list. :meow:

Selling Cosplays, Wigs, and Accessories!

Hallo~

Sorry for the late report. I've been super busy with Mother's Day, prepping for a tag sale, cleaning my room, and work. ._.;

Anyway, we drove down to PA as soon as Star was finished with her last final. Got to the hotel and crashed there for the night with ~Morijana and ~thru-apeture-eyes. I have to say, I think the best moments from the weekend were in the room rather than the con. Especially Xig scaring the crap out of Star. XD

Friday we couldn't pick up our badges until 1pm. So we got to sleep in a little, dressed up as Namine and Kairi with Larxene and Xigbar, and then waited around the con for a hour. We took some goofy photos and then once we got our badges, headed to the Dealer's Room. Bought some things here and there, like an Ein plishie and some pins. Didn't have a whole lot of money since I had to pay for the hotel and gas.  Once we finished there, we hung around and played cards till ~recessiveinheritance arrived. Then we walked around and goofed around until we got hungry. We went back to the room and hung around until Recessive had to leave. So sad we couldn't spend more time with her. I hope you had a great birthday with us Recessive! :heart:

Saturday we got dressed, packed up our stuff, and checked out of the hotel around 10am. We then headed over to the con and found a fantastic spot next to the con to take photos. Larx and Xig were cosplaying as Lillith and Mordecai from Borderlands and since we brought our dad's Nikon, we got some great photos. Go watch their pages so you can see them yourself! After that, we walked around the con some more and played Jenga. Then, we had to leave around 3pm to get back home. Said our goodbyes and then hit the road. We had t leave early because Mother's Day was the following and we had plans with the family.

Overall, the con was okay. It was rushed since the old Zenkai location was being revovated for a casino. The staff found out late and had to rush to reserve a different location. Hopefully next year will be better. I'll post up some photos as soon as I have some time. Gah, I'm so busy! And I still need to finish my cosplays for this summer. @_@

Hello and welcome! Twin-Cosplay is a cosplay account for ~DancingWind90 (aka Windie) and her twin sister, Star. Windie started the account a few years after joining DeviantART, at the prime point of getting involved in cosplay. Since then, they're love for cosplay took off and their talent is improving little by little (though they still have a long way to go). The girls love to cosplay and have met many extraordinary people all over and love interacting with fellow cosplayers.
